Telford International Centre (TIC) Event Managers lead the operational co-ordination between the organising event Client and the venue’s integrated services.  A demanding role of high responsibility and deadline driven, it spans customer service, logistics and health and safety – ultimately ensuring an event goes through effective planning to build, live and breakdown.

Savanna says, “I had heard so many great things about TIC and when I saw the Event Manager vacancy, I just had to apply for it. I am really looking forward to my new role, meeting our clients and seeing their events grow and flourish year on year.”

Savanna joins the team from the National Conference Centre (based at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham) where she was a Conference and Events Planner.

Her first role in events was planning her “Sweet Sixteen” birthday party which prompted her Mum to encourage her to pursue a career in the events and hospitality industry. After completing a degree in Events Management at the University of West London, Savanna undertook various roles within the industry to gain experience and work out which area suited her most.
