The Midlands located business events venue, Telford International Centre, has announced the appointment of Helen Roffe as their new PR Executive.
As a brand-new role, the purpose of Helen’s post is to promote, narrate and explain the product, services, team and news of this award-winning events space to a variety of audiences. Helen joins the Marcoms team, a significant department with wider responsibility for ensuring Telford International Centre retains its premier position as one of the leading and largest venues in the UK, alongside its very important role of economic, wealth and job contribution to the green town of Telford.
Helen is no stranger to the venue as she started her marketing career at Holstein UK, the Organiser of UK Dairy Day, an event for the dairy industry held annually at Telford International Centre since 2014. During her time at Holstein UK, Helen was responsible for a range of marketing projects for both digital and print. More recently, Helen has worked for a local Digital Marketing Agency where she gained a wealth of experience from working with a variety of local businesses.
Helen says: “I am really excited to have joined Telford International Centre and am looking forward to delivering our PR, communications and marketing strategy and plans. Since joining at the beginning of the year, everyone has been very helpful and made me feel so welcome.”
